It hard to believe, but this will be our 9th annual NUDE THANKS GIVING  DINNER.  AT THE NUDIST LODGE. Our first dinner was at a member's home in 2014. Since that first year, we have outgrown houses. Our 9th annual Nude Thanksgiving Dinner at the Nudist Lodge will be on 10/1. Although we have had very good luck with this fall event, we decided to make it earlier to better the chances of good weather. This is also close to the Canadian Thanksgiving Date in honor of our Canadian Members. Hopefully, they will be able to join us.

Our online reservation system for the dinner will be online sometime next week. Save the date! The club will supply a turkey, gravy and dressing. The balance will be potluck.

As you know, we need a minimum number of people in order to have this event. The Lodge is located in Wyoming County. Directions will be sent to those who RSVP.

We will be getting there around 10:00AM to set up. You may join us any time after that. Come early and enjoy the nudist freedom. The Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner will start at 5:00PM

The cost will be $22.00 for Niagara Naturists/AANR members and $27.00 for non-members.

Again, since we have to rent the Lodge, we need a minimum number of people.

Naked in the Cave

As you know, for the last three years many Niagara Naturists members have traveled to the Howe's Caverns Naked in the Cave event. We have received advance notice of this year's event. Many of our members are already planning to go. We do not sell the tickets or make reservations. To make reservations please contact:

A positive body image is a strong factor in determining a person's happiness.

 

If you're unhappy with your physical shape, it can hinder your well-being. Interestingly, studies suggest that practicing nudism – a lifestyle of being naked – can boost positive feelings about your body and self.
Most of have been there – and if not yet, the day will surely come. Looking at our naked body in the mirror, examining the bits we don't like, the parts that could be smaller, larger, smoother or just not there at all. At the same time we are also bombarded with images of perfect bodies in the media, so it's no wonder failing to have a positive body image is a common issue. When Playboy (and Playgirl) first hit the news stands, all of the models were airbrushed (latter Photo shopped) to a certain extent to make them perfect. (in the eyes of the editors) How does a common every day person compete with that? There very few, if any, perfect bodies  in the world. Besides, perfect is in the eye of the beholder.
Many times, we have invited people to take part in nude recreation activities and the answer has been ( from both men and women) I don't have the body for it, I have to lose 40 pounds before I could come, I have scars on my body.
